Litha Open Ritual Saturday, June 22nd, 2013 Gather at 6:00 Ritual at 7:00 PM Location:  Faere Wood Near Aberdeen, MD Please R.S.V.P. to Leanne for directions The sweet days of Summer are upon us once more as the Wheel turns to the Solstice: the time of Litha. Come join us in joyous celebration of the peak of the waxing year. In this ritual, as in years past, we will honor the Melissa — the Goddess of the Honey Bees — to sip her golden nectar and renew our connection to the natural world. And once again, we come 'round to the Full of the Sun and Full of the Moon that was present when our Holly Chalice was dedicated – always a special time! Parking is limited so please carpool if at all possible. We will feast following the ritual; please bring a dish to share if you can. Ritual robes are welcome though not required. We will be outside, unless it rains hard, so plan for sturdy shoes and insect repellant if you need it. The Moon rises past the trees by 10PM, so bring a flashlight if you plan to stay to honor Her.
