Location: Faere Wood
Near Aberdeen, MD
Time: 10:00 AM - 3:00 PM
Directions Please contact Leanne Pemburn or Mark Pemburn for directions.
This workshop is designed for intermediate students looking to improve skills and move to the next level.

Topics will include: reading for ourselves/others, choosing your deck, the physical reading setup, telling the story inherent in each reading, accessing our intuition, trusting the deck and your voice, the Arcanas, spreads, venues in which readers can obtain professional gigs, and learning your deck. We will also focus on the challenges inherent in general vs. specific questions, giving the good/bad news, predictions and whether or not we should make them, and remaining objective while reading.

During the latter part of the workshop, each participant will be invited to read and will receive feedback/critique on the reading. This has always proven to be a powerful portion of each class. Fee for this workshop will be $45, with a limit of 20 people. Bring your lunch.

About Izolda Trakhtenberg Born in Moldova in the former Soviet Union, Izolda grew up steeped in the rich heritage of Eastern Europe. She spent her first few years listening to the folk tales of her great-grandmother about subjects as diverse as card reading, plants, stones, the weather, people, and music.

When she was six, her family left Moldova and immigrated to the USA in a year-long process. Izolda re-discovered study of the cards utilizing a regular deck of playing cards in high school. In 1985, she found her first tarot deck. She began reading professionally over 30 years ago and now reads for private and corporate clients all over the world. She also works as a palmist and tarot reader at the Ancient Mysteries Divination booth at the Maryland Renaissance Festival. http://ReadingsByIzolda.com She is also the author and creator of the upcoming “Today’s Tarot” ebook and iOS app.

Who We Are
Keepers of the Holly Chalice is a Wiccan coven based in North-Central Maryland. We draw from many sources for our rituals, celebrations, and magick, with a focus on Celtic lore, Astrology, and Qabala. We are members of the Assembly of the Sacred Wheel which arose from our beginnings in 1984 and later became incorporated as a Wiccan tradition. The Assembly currently has eleven covens ranging from Southern Delaware to Northern New Jersey and westward to the outskirts of Washington, D.C. As a service to the community, we sponsor a number of open circles, workshops, and social gatherings each year. Most of our activities are in or around Northern Maryland.. More…
